Water Services

The Village Water System is billed on a bi-monthly basis. A unit fee of $58.00 plus .92 cents per 1,000 gallons used. You may pay your water bill with cash, check, money order and credit cards (there is a 2.75% fee on all credit card transactions).

Water, at times for various reasons, may be discolored . If you are experiencing discolored water that will not clear up, please contact the village office at 594-2100 to report it and our Public Works will look into it.

If you experience low pressure or no water and it is after hours, please contact Steve Siptrott, Supt. of Public Works at 607-857-6426.

The water hydrants are flushed periodically. The purpose is to clean the pipes and remove sediment. You may notice low water pressure, cloudy or discolored water during this procedure. The water will be safe however, you should refrain from doing laundry until late evening.
