Rabies Clinic Schedule
Please PAWS to PREVENT Rabies
Vaccinating pets, like dogs, cats, and ferrets, is one of the best ways to prevent people from getting rabies. It is also required by law in New York State.1 Our Department helps prevent the spread of rabies by providing no-cost public Rabies Clinics each year.
See the table below for this year's rabies clinic schedule. For our clinics:
- Appointments will be required. Please arrive at your appointment time.
- Animals must be at least 3 months of age.
- Cats and ferrets must be in a carrier. Please have only one animal per carrier.
- All dogs must be on a leash.
- Please bring proof of any prior rabies shots.
- Vaccination is free of charge. Donations are appreciated.
Registration links will be provided closer to the date of each clinic.

Can't make it to one of our clinics? Your pets can also be vaccinated at their veterinarian's office, or you can try finding a clinic offered by a neighboring county.
