County Building Security Detail

The Schuyler County Sheriff's Office is charged with security of the County Office Building and Courthouse. Deputy Sheriff's are stationed throughout the building for the protection of employees and visitors. Upon entry to the building all visitors must pass through a metal detector, all bags and packages are also screened. Deputies at the main entrance can also provide information to visitors in need of assistance.

• WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN !
• USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY COUNTY BUILDING !
• ALL POLICE OFFICERS AND PEACE OFFICERS MUST REPORT TO THE DEPUTY SHERIFF ON DUTY UPON ENTRY TO THE BUILDING !
• ATTORNEY'S MUST PRESENT THEIR COURT ISSUED IDENTIFICATION UPON ENTRY TO THE BUILDING !
