Schuyler County Animal Shelter

The Schuyler County Animal Shelter located on VanZandt Hollow Road is open from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Saturday’s only. You may call and set up an appointment to visit the Animal Shelter or to adopt a dog on other days, to make an appointment phone (607)535-9960 and leave a message and someone will get back with you. The Animal Shelter does not have a full time staff. The Animal Shelter is only capable of holding dogs and special arraignments must be made with the Animal Shelter for cats. If you would like information on getting assistance with neutering your animal you may contact the shelter and someone will be back in touch with you. The animal shelter is mainly run from donations, if you would like to make a donation or to volunteer your services you can contact the Animal Control Officer, William Everetts, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 A.M. till 5:00 P.M. at (607) 535-8222.
