MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Schuyler County Purchasing Department is to provide centralized purchasing, supporting all county departments in an efficient, cost effective, and professional manner in accordance with New York State Municipal Law.
OVERVIEW
The Purchasing Department oversees procurement for commodities and services for 28 Schuyler County Departments, including solicitation and award of competitive bids, formal and informal quotations (RFQ’s) and requests for proposals (RFP’s).
Our office hours are 8:00AM - 4:00PM Monday through Friday, vendors may call on the Purchasing Department during those hours. It is recommended that an appointment be scheduled to ensure Purchasing staff is available.
