Emily Warfle is a Public Health Specialist with Schuyler County Public Health. She serves as the department’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and works on our injury prevention programs, including working with the community’s suicide prevention coalition, SAFE. In her role as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, she ensures our department is ready for emergencies by updating our emergency preparedness plans, training staff on the plans, facilitating drills, and managing our Medical Reserve Corps of volunteers.
Emily graduated from Ithaca College with a Master of Science in Health Education; she also received her Bachelor of Science in Public and Community Health there. She started her career in public health in Tioga County, before taking a shared position between Yates and Schuyler County in 2019. During the pandemic, she decided to focus solely on her home county of Schuyler – becoming an employee of solely Schuyler County in 2021. In her free time, Emily loves racing dirt bikes.
