Deborah Dalmat is a public health specialist with Schuyler County Public Health. She serves as the department’s Accreditation Coordinator and Performance Management Quality Improvement Coordinator, helping the department to maintain and improve our programs and processes to help us remain effective, efficient, and in-line with national standards. She also serves as the department’s Public Information Officer – facilitating the department’s health communications – and as the Program Director for SCCUDD’s Drug-Free Communities Support Program grant.
Deborah graduated from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health (MPH) and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. While working on her MPH, Deborah worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®). Deborah grew up in the Finger Lakes region but moved South during high school. After earning her MPH, she moved back to the area to be closer to family.
