Need to go to the grocery store? The doctor’s? the bank?

So do a lot of your neighbors.

Schuyler County Office for the Aging offers door to door transportation services for those 60 and over without other such means.

MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to medical appointments provided by RSVP Volunteers

When you need a ride to a medical appointment, give us a call, and we’ll do our best to help. In order to the program to run smoothly, we ask all of our passengers to read and follow the passenger guidelines set forth.

VAN SERVICE

Transportation available to shopping, banking, hair appointments, etc.

WHEELCHAIR TRANSPORTATION

Wheelchair transportation by appointment only.

This service is contracted through ARC of Schuyler. 2 week advanced notice is appreciated.

How to reserve your seat for Transportation Services

Call 535-7108 the DAY BEFORE YOU WANT TO SHOP or AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE YOUR DOCTOR’S APPOINTMENT
Ask to be transferred to the Transportation Coordinator OR Press Option 4 to leave a voice message.
If it becomes necessary to leave a message, please include the following information in the message

your name
your address
your telephone number
where you want to go
when you want to go (date and time)

The Transportation Coordinator will return your call within 24 hours.

SHOPPING & RECREATIONAL TRIPS

Trips for Shopping a Recreation are scheduled throughout the year.

Must be able to walk independently, without assistance
In most cases you should plan to stop for lunch
