Phone Pal– Call an isolated senior to provide companionship and a safety check
Shopping Assistance– Shop on behalf of a senior or take them to the grocery store and assist in the process; If transporting, must possess a clean driving record and have a valid NYS driver’s license, insurance and registration
Strong for Life or Matter of Balance Coach– Lead physical activity sessions; training provided
Health Insurance Counselor– Provide assistance to Medicare beneficiaries regarding Parts A, B, C and D as well as private health insurance; assist with Medicare Savings Program and Low Income Subsidy applications; utilize My Benefits screening tool; training provided
Clerical– Assist with answering phones, filing, greeting walk-ins, mailings, and more
Advisory Council Member– Represent your home area, voice ideas, share needs of seniors in the community, help with planning and advocacy, and more; training provided, 5 meetings per year..
Senior Notebook Camera Operator– Videotape interviews on site. Training provided.
Senior Notebook Interviewer– Talk with guests, ask questions, guide interview. Training provided.

An orientation and training will follow.
