 Notice of Public Informational Meeting

for the

Schuyler County North L’Hommedieu Bridge Replacement Project

The North L’Hommedieu Bridge Replacement is currently being designed and is slated for construction in 2018.  The project is planned to be a complete bridge replacement and the road will be closed with a detour posted during construction. 

 A Public Informational Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Village of Montour Falls Office located at 408 West Main Street, Montour Falls, NY.  The meeting will be an Open House format with exhibits displayed of the proposed project improvements.  The public will have the opportunity to peruse the displays and ask the design team and County representatives questions. A formal presentation will be given by the design team at 6:15 PM explaining the details of the project followed by additional time to review the displays and talk with the team and County representatives. 


Notice of Public Information Meeting

for the

                  Schuyler County Road 16 Bridge Replacement Project                

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Schuyler County Highway Department in conjunction with the NYSDOT will hold a Public Information Meeting regarding the County Road 16 Bridge Replacement over a Trib to Meads Creek.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Monterey Fire Hall located at 1465 South Street in Beaver Dams between 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  County Highway Department and Design Consultant personnel will be available at this time to answer questions.  The project Design Report will be available at the County Highway Superintendent’s office for anyone wishing to review it.


As of 10/27/16. Mill Street over Chequaga Falls bridge will be reduced to 18 ton weight limit until further notice.
